Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Lease End/Remarketing Process Manager based at our Greenville, NC location.

What you will do:

  • Provides daily direction and guidance to the remarketing staff to maximize sale prices and remarketing profit and keep inventory within aging requirements, while creating and supporting process improvements that result in increased dealer and customer satisfaction.

  • Functions as the direct remarketing contact point with our Joint Venture partner and is responsible for administering their remarketing policies and procedures and for reporting accurately monthly results.

  • Build relationships with dealer used equipment, rental, and sales managers and work with them on-site as needed to build our remarketing effectiveness.

  • Facilitates a positive end of lease experience with large leasing customers.

  • Support dealers with large customer returns by doing inspections and assisting with the return process.

  • Proactively identifies class II and big truck end of lease opportunities /returns and engage teams to drive new trucks sales.

  • Position is responsible for converting evergreen opportunities to new equipment orders and assuring that dealers have effective processes in place to facilitate this conversion.

  • Relationship Builder: Proficient in building and maintaining strong relationships with key buyers in Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and wholesale markets.

  • Sales Cycle Expertise: Extensive experience in sales cycles related to lease transactions, possessing a deep understanding of the process from initiation to closure.

  • Leadership and Mentorship: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor sales personnel, fostering their development and growth within the organization.

  • Process Improvement Orientation: Dedicated to identifying opportunities for process optimization and enhancement, continuously striving for greater efficiency and effectiveness in sales operations.

What you will need:

  • BS Degree strongly preferred.

  • With degree, 5-7 years related work experience, industry experience strongly preferred.

  • Without degree, 10 years related work experience, industry experience strongly preferred.

Skills, Experience & Abilities

  • Computer Literacy: Understanding of and capability to use Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook plus capability to use internal systems and software.

  • Proven ability to communicate and effectively negotiate with customer and dealers that result in win-win solutions to problems.

  • Broad understanding of machinery repair and maintenance preferred.

  • A strong sense of business acumen. Possessing a deep understanding of the interworking of business operations, including market dynamics, financial principles, and strategic decision-making processes.

  • Thorough understanding of leasing and leasing contractual obligations and return processes/procedures.
