Hyster-Yale Group, Inc. (HYG), a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Senior Project Engineer based at our Warehouse Product Development Center in Greenville, North Carolina .
What you will do:
Ensure products meet company goals for profitability and market share, while also meeting quality, reliability, performance, and cost expectations.
Manage upgrades or major projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Train and supervise project personnel to meet goals and ensure they stick to the schedule.
Regularly review and assess the performance of team members.
Ensure designs work well with manufacturing processes and make good decisions when choosing suppliers.
Coordinate engineering activities with cross functional teams.
Lead efforts to find better ways of doing things during development.
Provide advice on warehouse products to legal and risk management teams.

What you will need:
BS degree in Engineering; Electrical Engineering preferred
Minimum 8-10 years’ experience of design engineering, team leadership, and project management.
Skills, Experience & Abilities
Proficient in forklift design and systems, with a strong understanding of engineering processes for product innovation.
Global product awareness and understanding of geographic requirements for different product lines.
Expertise in project planning, budgeting, and management, with the ability to identify and implement cost reduction opportunities.
Familiarity with global Codes and Standards such as OSHA, ITA, ISO, EEC, and other relevant regulations.
